About the Role
As a Speech-Language Pathologist serving St. Augustine-area schools, you will:
-
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to support students’ communication needs
-
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Collaborate with general and special education teams, administrators, and families to support student success
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility decisions for special education services
-
Provide consultation and training to school staff on communication strategies and supports
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Florida state and district guidelines
-
Serve K–12 students across a diverse and inclusive school community
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Active or pending Florida SLP license (Blazer Jobs can assist with licensure support if needed)
-
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CF candidates will be considered
-
Previous school-based experience preferred
-
Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
-
Open to both local candidates and out-of-state clinicians
