Pay Range: $42–$60+/hour (based on experience and employment path)
Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in St. Augustine, Florida. This full-time role is open to both local SLPs seeking steady school-year work and traveling clinicians looking for flexible, high-paying assignments.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will provide therapy services to students in grades K–12, addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication needs. You will collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress throughout the year.

1. Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

Steady school-year placement (August–May/June)

Weekly pay: $42–$50/hour, depending on experience and certification

2. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

Short-term or semester-based contracts

Weekly pay: $50–$60+/hour, depending on travel status and qualifications

Weekly gross: $1,600–$2,000, including tax-free stipends for housing and meals (if qualified)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language services to K–12 students in individual and group settings

Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility decisions

Develop and maintain IEPs in accordance with Florida state and district guidelines

Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families
-
Maintain timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Florida SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; strong CFs will be considered
-
Previous school-based experience is highly valued
-
Must pass background and fingerprint clearance
