About VocoVision:
VocoVision is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote speech therapy services to K-12 students in Saginaw, Michigan. This is a flexible, remote position where you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives by improving their communication skills, which in turn will support their academic success.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct virtual speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication needs.
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Provide engaging and effective remote therapy sessions tailored to each student’s goals and needs.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school teams to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings to ensure students receive the appropriate speech services and accommodations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with Michigan’s special education guidelines.
What You Need:
- A valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- At least two years of experience in a school-based setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
- Proficiency with virtual speech therapy tools and online assessment platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
