Maine Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (Teletherapy)

A Maine school system is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver virtual services to K-12 students statewide. In this remote role, you will use secure teletherapy platforms to evaluate students, implement treatment plans, and support progress in collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote speech/language assessments using approved evaluation tools

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs

  • Deliver evidence-based teletherapy sessions and consultative services

  • Partner with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals

  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance reports

  • Stay current with professional standards and best practices in school-based SLP services

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Maine SLP license or eligibility to obtain

  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; CF considered with supervision plan

  • Previous school or teletherapy experience preferred, or strong ability to adopt virtual tools

  • Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
