A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting in Rockwall, TX, with services extending to Greenville, TX. This contract role supports students from kindergarten through 4th grade, with a caseload of 79 students, 31 of whom require speech-only services. The assignment offers a collaborative environment, including supervision responsibilities for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy to elementary students (K-4th grade)
- Manage a caseload of 79 students, including 31 with speech-only needs
- Supervise and collaborate with an SLPA to enhance therapeutic outcomes
- Maintain detailed student records and progress reports
- Collaborate with educators and parents to support student communication goals
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with CCC credentials
- Experience or interest in pediatric, healthcare, and school-based speech therapy
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, from ASAP until June 10
- Bilingual candidates preferred; monolingual applicants will also be considered
