Qualifications:
- Current LSLS Cert. AVT (Listening and Spoken Language Specialist – Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist) certification through AG Bell Academy
- Licensed in your SLP, Audiology, or Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing discipline in the state of California
- Prior experience providing school-based auditory-verbal therapy or related services preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive evaluation to determine the necessity for ongoing AVT services for a student
- If continued, provide AVT services one session a month for 60 minutes
- Collaborate effectively with school personnel, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed records aligned with state and school guidelines
