In this role, you’ll split your time between two elementary school buildings—working Mondays and Wednesdays at one site, and Tuesdays and Thursdays at the other. The workday spans from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, providing consistent hours and a healthy work-life balance. You’ll provide services to an eager student population of approximately 50-60 children, making a meaningful impact throughout the school community. The assignment is anticipated to run from the beginning of October through January.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure in the state of Ohio and ASHA CCCs
- Experience in a school setting and familiarity with IEP development
- Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and social communication
- Confident in both in-person and teletherapy service delivery for school-aged students
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students in individual and group sessions
- Assess, plan, and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success strategies
