Speech-Language Pathologist (2 Openings – Immediate Start)
Location: Elementary & Middle School Levels (potentially across two buildings)
Start Date: Immediate
We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our Special Education team. These are immediate assignments, offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on students’ communication and academic success.
Position Details:

Grade Levels: Elementary and Middle School
-
Caseload: Up to 60 students for full-time
-
Assignments: Could potentially service two buildings
-
Student Population: Primarily stable, with low transiency
-
Support Tools & Systems:
-
PowerSchool Special Education (for IEPs, progress monitoring, etc.)
-
SLP Toolkit (for scheduling and logging progress notes)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech and language services
Complete Medicaid billing requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

Technology: Laptop computer issued through the Special Education Department

Caseload Support: “Speech-only” students may vary, allowing flexibility in service delivery

Mentorship: CFY candidates are welcome! Supervision is available and will depend on the candidate fit
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Current Michigan SLP licensure/certification
-
Strong organizational and communication skills
-
Commitment to supporting student growth and collaboration with school teams
