Speech-Language Pathologist in Elk Grove, CA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a K-12 school setting in Elk Grove, CA, to provide essential support from December 1, 2025, through June 12, 2026. This contract opportunity offers a caseload of approximately 50-65 students, with a focus on progress monitoring and service delivery in a school district environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
- Provide direct therapy to address articulation, language, fluency, voice, and other communication disorders.
- Monitor students’ progress regularly and adjust interventions as needed to meet educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License.
- California Educator Certification.
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings.
- Strong skills in progress monitoring and delivering school-based speech therapy services.
