A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in the Machesney Park/Rockford area, serving students primarily in a school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students aged K-22
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services using evidence-based practices in-person within the school setting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance service delivery
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working in educational, pediatric, or healthcare environments preferred
- Completion or current enrollment in a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) program is welcomed
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-35 students efficiently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort with school-aged populations and flexibility to work across ages 5-22
Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Based in Machesney Park, IL, within the Rockford school district area
