School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Mojave, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting located in Mojave, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly on site, supporting a caseload spanning from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position aims to complement the existing on-site SLP, replacing a currently contracted virtual role to enhance in-person support for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels (K-12)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and compliance with relevant educational regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience specifically working with school-aged populations (K-12)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school staff and families
