School Speech Language Pathologist - Romeoville, Illinois
Providing specialized speech-language pathology services in elementary and early childhood educational settings, this position offers an engaging opportunity for licensed SLP-CCC professionals. The role involves working onsite full-time with varied caseloads in supportive school environments focused on enhancing student communication skills across inclusive and self-contained programs.
Locations and Caseloads:
- Position 1 (ASAP–01/12/2026): K-5 elementary school with some students in self-contained life-skills classrooms.
- Position 2 (11/20/2025–03/06/2026): Elementary/middle school complex serving K-8, no travel between buildings required.
- Position 3 (01/05/2026–04/13/2026): Early Childhood Center providing direct therapy and play-based assessments for children ages 3-5 in inclusion and self-contained settings. All caseloads include no more than 60 students, with additional weighted consideration for those in self-contained programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students.
- Conduct assessments and participate in play-based evaluation teams.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working in school settings with children from elementary to early childhood levels.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently within structured educational programs.
