Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Job Duties

Assist in implementing speech and language therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP

Provide direct support services to students with communication disorders

Document student progress and maintain accurate session records

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success

Assist with materials preparation and other tasks as needed to support therapy services
Federal and State Requirements
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field from an accredited institution

Active Texas SLPA License required
-
Previous school-based experience preferred

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
