A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide essential speech and language services at an elementary school in Rockford, MI. This contract role will cover leave from February through May during the current school year and offers a robust opportunity to work with a diverse elementary caseload.
Key qualifications for this position include:
- Must hold Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings
- Expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50-55 students
- Familiarity with teletherapy methods is a plus, though this role is primarily in-person
- Not available for candidates currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders among elementary-aged students. The SLP will collaborate with educators and families to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide tailored therapies that support students' communication skills and academic success.
