A K-12 school in McHenry, IL is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a leave contract position. The assignment will focus on providing speech-language services to students in grades K-3rd and Junior High, starting January 5, 2026, through March 16, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance students’ communication skills
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans in compliance with school protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports related to SLP services
- Provide support to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC or CFY credentials preferred
- Experience as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, particularly with K-12 populations
- Ability to perform direct and indirect therapy within contracted hours without additional district obligations such as bus duty or parent pickup
- Eligible travel therapists may receive stipends
