Speech Pathology - Elgin, IL
This contract opportunity in Elgin, IL offers a full-time SLP or Speech-Language Pathologist CFY position supporting students across a middle and high school. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student participation in classroom tasks by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care needs
- Modify activities or environments to accommodate diverse student requirements
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as applicable
- Prepare detailed and insightful reports following assessments and observations
- Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and accommodations
- Collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and peers to review developmental progress and required supports
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible for an Illinois state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
