Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rochester, NY
Blazer Jobs has partnered with schools throughout New York to provide special education students with the services they need for a successful future. We are currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a remote position supporting school districts in the Rochester, NY area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality virtual speech-language services that help students achieve their academic and communication goals.
Requirements
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to apply:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active New York Speech Language Pathologist license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Office of the Professions

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or eligibility/CFY supervision
-
Completion of any additional district-specific credentialing requirements

Experience providing telepractice services preferred

Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and online communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, or specialized telepractice software)

Reliable computer, high-speed internet, webcam, and headset for virtual service delivery

Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance as required by New York state law
Responsibilities

Deliver virtual speech-language therapy to students individually and in small group settings

Conduct remote evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team

Monitor student progress, adjust therapy approaches, and maintain accurate documentation

Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student success

Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and professional development sessions remotely

Stay current with best practices for telepractice and New York state regulations for speech-language pathology
