Description:
Are you a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a fulfilling remote role? We are looking for an experienced SLP to join our team in Virginia to cover a maternity leave. This full-time position involves working with K-12 students who have moderate cognitive impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services to a caseload of K-12 students with moderate cognitive impairments.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and academic success.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student data.
- Participate in virtual meetings and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current Virginia SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 students with moderate cognitive impairments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and technology.
