This opportunity involves providing speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school district located in Bradenton, FL. The position is full-time and contract-based, covering multiple school sites with varied student populations and caseloads.
Location: Bradenton, FL
Contract Duration: January 2026 through May 28, 2026 (specific dates vary by assigned school)
Assignment Sites:
- Sugg Middle School (Jan - May 28, 2026)
- Blackburn Elementary (ASAP - April 2026)
- Abel Elementary or Abel/Tillman Elementary (March - May 28, 2026)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students across elementary and middle school levels, including those in specialized programs such as self-contained/cluster EBD (Emotional and Behavioral Disorders).
- Collaborate with existing SLPs and support staff, ensuring service continuity during maternity leave or staff transitions.
- Manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining compliance with school district policies and state licensure requirements.
- Provide evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and progress monitoring for approximately 60 students at assigned sites.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
- Current Florida SLP license required.
- Open to candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not accepted for this role.
- Experience in school-based settings preferred but not mandatory.
Additional Information:
- This is an on-site position, not suitable for remote or VOCO applicants.
- Full-time hours per week, supporting multiple campuses within the district.
