This opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) seeking to support preschool and school-aged children across diverse educational settings in the Riverview, FL area. The contract runs through the end of the school year, offering flexibility with multiple openings to accommodate varied schedules and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations for preschoolers within the ChildFind program, focusing on assessments for 3-year-olds.
  • Provide ongoing SLP services across several schools with caseloads ranging from one day to full-time coverage.
  • Work onsite within district schools, contributing to the identification and support of students’ speech and language needs.

Assignments include: • Preschool evaluations across the district (1-5 days per week, depending on availability). • Support at Marshall Middle School with minimal weekly hours. • Immediate needs at Frost Elementary, Mann Middle School (full-time), and Guinta Middle School (one day per week). • Upcoming positions at Armwood High School (starting December 1) and Collins PK-8 (starting in March).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Florida SLP license; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome—supervision provided.
  • No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be accepted.
  • Strong assessment and communication skills to effectively evaluate and support young children.
  • Commitment to onsite service delivery within the school district.
