A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school setting with assignments beginning immediately and extending through the end of the school year (May 29, 2026). This contract position is based in Riverside, CA, and involves working primarily at one elementary school while providing support to additional sites as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to a caseload of approximately 45 students.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Support students with moderate to severe speech and language challenges.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students.
- Skills in handling moderate to severe speech and language impairments are highly valued.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed.
