A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to serve K-12 students across multiple school sites in Brownsville, TN. This contract role runs through the current school year and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within an educational setting, supporting students' communication skills development.
This itinerant position involves coverage of seven total schools within the district, with caseloads distributed evenly to ensure balanced workloads. Candidates holding an active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Tennessee are encouraged to apply. Both Speech-Language Pathologists holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) licensed for school settings will be considered. There are three openings available, with a start date as soon as possible.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP License in the state of Tennessee
- Eligibility for SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA School certifications
- Ability to provide itinerant services across multiple education sites
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations and interventions tailored to student needs
- Manage caseloads evenly distributed among seven school sites
- Collaborate with educators and other support professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state educational guidelines
- Travel between school locations as required for service delivery
