Overview:
A school district in the Rio Vista, California area is seeking a qualified and committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate, full-time, onsite-only position. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP who values collaboration, enjoys working across age groups, and is comfortable in a supportive environment with SLPA assistance.
Important Note:
This position is not open to virtual providers. The district is specifically replacing a previous virtual SLP with an onsite professional who can deliver in-person services and case management.
Caseload Details:
-
40–50 students to case manage
-
20–25 students receiving direct speech/language services from the SLP
-
Remainder of the caseload receives services from SLPAs, whom the SLP will supervise as needed
-
Age Range: Preschool through High School
Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to approximately 20–25 students
-
Manage IEP caseloads (40–50 students), including evaluations, reports, and IEP meetings
-
Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs delivering services to remaining students
-
Work closely with special education teams, general educators, and families

Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active California SLP License
-
California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential or eligibility
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Experience supervising SLPAs is a plus

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Must be available for onsite work in the Rio Vista area
