Role Summary
As an SLP in Richmond, VA, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. You will collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to help students reach their academic and social goals through improved communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication goals.
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Provide training and resources to staff and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain compliance with state, district, and federal regulations.
Requirements (Virginia)
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active Virginia SLP license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered.
• School-based experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Local Contract
• Full-time, on-site in Richmond, VA.
• Hourly rate: $50–$60/hour, depending on experience.
