Speech Pathology - Richmond, VA
This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is based in Richmond, VA, supporting K-12 students throughout the school year on a contract basis. The position requires on-site commitment with a Monday through Friday schedule to provide comprehensive speech and language services to children within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize communication outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district policies.
- Participate in meetings and provide guidance related to student speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Virginia SLP license.
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
