Transition-Focused SLP Supporting High School Students Communication Needs (Virginia, 1099)
Support high school students as they prepare for post-secondary education, employment, and independent living by focusing on functional communication, executive functioning, and self-advocacy skills through teletherapy. You will help students develop the practical communication tools necessary for success beyond high school.
Responsibilities:

Conduct transition-focused communication assessments

Provide therapy targeting pragmatic language, organization, and self-advocacy

Collaborate with transition coordinators, families, and community agencies

Develop goals that align with post-secondary plans and IEP transition requirements

Monitor and document student progress toward transition objectives

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
