A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at an elementary school serving PreK through 3rd grade students in Katy, TX.
This onsite contract role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year (EOSY). The ideal candidate will conduct evaluations and provide direct speech and language services to young learners. There may also be an opportunity to collaborate with or supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid SLP certification (CFY or CCC) for school settings
- Experience working with early elementary age groups (PreK-3rd grade)
- Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Skilled in designing and delivering individualized therapy services
- Flexibility and collaborative spirit to support student progress
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and establish treatment goals
- Provide therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Document progress and communicate effectively with educators and families
- Collaborate with other school professionals to support student success
