A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a maternity leave contract at an elementary school in Richmond, TX. This full-time, on-site opportunity spans from January 5, 2026, through April 17, 2026, providing critical support to a caseload of approximately 100 students. The position involves supervising a bilingual SLP Assistant who works three days per week, conducting evaluations, and attending Special Instruction (SI) only Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to elementary students within a school setting.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments.
- Supervise a bilingual SLP Assistant to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in SI-only ARD meetings to support student individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an elementary school environment.
- Ability to supervise SLP Assistants and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
