A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school district located near Houston, TX. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through May 21, 2026, serving students in grades 7-12 across two schools. The role is based on-site only and involves managing a caseload of approximately 80-90 students.
Location: Rosenberg, TX
School Setting: K-12, George Ranch High School and Reading Junior High
Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through 5/21/2026
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in grades 7-12
- Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
Qualifications:
- Valid professional license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably grades 7-12
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in educational settings
- Ability to manage a large caseload effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
