An opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Grandview, WA. This contract position spans the current school year and offers the potential for multiple openings. The role focuses on delivering speech and language services to students, collaborating with educators and families to foster communication development and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students
- Strong knowledge of speech-language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
