School Speech and Language Pathologist | Renton, Washington
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in the Port Orchard, WA area. This in-person role offers the opportunity to support a diverse K-12 caseload within a public school setting, providing vital speech and language services to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
- Ensure compliance with school district policies and state regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- ESA credential or ability to obtain this endorsement
- Completion of fingerprinting process through OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Position Details:
- Location: Port Orchard, WA
- Schedule: Full-time, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
- Work setting: School-based, in-person services only
- Contract position serving as a backfill for the school year
