School Speech and Language Pathologist | Kent, Washington
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available in a K-12 school setting in Kent, WA, offering a contract position through the current school year ending June 12, 2026. This in-person position requires providing comprehensive speech and language services across all grade levels, supporting a diverse student caseload from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Deliver direct therapy services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and facilitate communication between school staff and families.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State SLP License with certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC).
- Education Staff Associate (ESA) certification in Washington State.
- Fingerprinting clearance through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
- Experience working within school settings providing speech-language services to K-12 students.
- Ability to work full-time (7.5 hours per day/37.5 hours per week) on-site.
Location: Kent, WA (In-person only)
