Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Renton, Washington (ZIP 98057). This role offers the opportunity to provide critical speech and language support to a diverse student population across multiple grade levels in a collaborative and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.

Deliver speech-language therapy in individual and group settings within the school environment.

Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success.

Monitor and document student progress regularly, making data-driven adjustments to therapy plans.

Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility assessments, and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Provide consultation and training to staff and parents to enhance communication support strategies.

Maintain compliance with federal and state special education laws and district policies.
Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Valid Washington State ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification or eligibility to obtain.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFYs) encouraged to apply.

Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and best practices in school-based speech-language pathology.

Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.

Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

Familiarity with AAC devices and strategies.

Comfort with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation tools.
