Elementary School Speech and Language Pathologist | Red Hook, New York

This opportunity is for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support within an elementary school setting, primarily serving PreK through 2nd-grade students. The role is a contracted position for the current school year and requires onsite presence to deliver effective therapy services in a collaborative educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students from PreK to 2nd grade.
- Develop tailored treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience or specialization in school-based speech-language pathology.
- Ability to work effectively with young children in an elementary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Commitment to providing services onsite in Red Hook, NY.
