Speech and Language Pathologist Position: Red Bluff, CA
We are seeking a qualified SLP to work with a school district in the Red Bluff, CA area. The school would like to hire a speech and language pathologist to assist the children in the district in overcoming the difficulties associated with speech impairment for the 2026-2027 school year. The therapist will be working with preschoolers with a case of about 20 students.
Job responsibilities:
- Determine if students are eligible for services in the areas of articulation/phonology, abnormal voice, fluency, and language.
- Review IEPs at least annually and conduct initial and re-evaluations.
- Schedule and provide individual and/or group therapy sessions.
- Meet and confer with teachers and parents about methods and techniques for dealing with special problems and adjustments to education programs for communicative difficulties.
Qualified candidates will have a California State license, teaching certification and the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Some supervision may be required.
