An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification to support K-12 students in a full-semester contract position located in Allentown, PA. This role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and delivering targeted speech and language interventions to help students achieve their communication goals within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of interventions, progress notes, and compliance with state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to student educational planning
Desired Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders as they relate to school-aged children
