School-Based SLP | Reading, Pennsylvania
A professional opportunity is available for two Speech-Language Pathologists to provide services within community preschool and daycare settings, supporting children aged 3-5 with speech and language impairments. These positions are based in Reading, PA, and serve students in a K-12 educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to children with speech and language impairment disabilities.
- Work within various preschool and daycare environments in the community.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required paperwork, dedicating Fridays to administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification.
- Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children with speech and language impairments is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule within Monday through Thursday direct service hours and Friday paperwork.
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Contract positions with two availability windows: one starting immediately through June 2026 and the second from January to June 2026.
- Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch.
