South Dakota Remote SLP School Compliance Consultant
Are you a Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a flexible contract role? We are hiring a remote 1099 SLP to provide speech-language services to students in South Dakota school districts. This position focuses on balancing direct student engagement with a strong emphasis on documentation and state compliance. You’ll have autonomy in your schedule and caseload management while still being part of a supportive virtual team. Key Duties:

Evaluate students via secure teletherapy platforms.

Interpret evaluation results and write comprehensive reports.

Ensure timely completion of IEP documents and progress reports.

Review existing documentation for compliance and accuracy.

Participate in audits and prepare materials for district/state reviews.

Communicate regularly with school staff regarding service delivery.

Train staff on speech-language support in inclusive classrooms.

Maintain accurate therapy logs and service records.

Provide remote supervision to SLPA if needed.

Adapt therapy materials for remote delivery.

Address parent and teacher concerns promptly.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on eligibility decisions.

Monitor caseload to ensure service delivery is on track.

Support transition services and exit planning as needed.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
