Pediatric SLP in Randolph, NJ
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school located in Randolph, NJ. This contract position begins in late November and runs for the current school year (CSY). The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, providing a consistent workweek ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting students in a school environment.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing effective speech and language therapy to elementary students. The caseload focuses on a diverse range of communication challenges commonly seen in an educational setting. The role also involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support student progress.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC preferred)
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school or healthcare setting
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) seeking school-based experience
- Strong knowledge of school-based speech therapy techniques and teletherapy platforms
- Familiarity with the roles of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in both school and healthcare settings is beneficial
