Provide skilled Speech-Language Pathology services in multiple school locations throughout El Dorado County, CA, for the remainder of the academic year. This contract role involves working with diverse caseloads ranging from mild to moderate, with some potential severe cases, across PreK to adult transition programs. The district spans a broad geographic area including El Dorado Hills to Camino, requiring candidates to be comfortable with travel and itinerant assignments that may change during the semester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech-language pathology services within various school sites across El Dorado County.
- Manage caseloads that may involve mild to moderate speech and language disorders, with some severe cases.
- Support PreK through adult transition programs as needed.
- Provide clinical supervision for CFs and SLPAs onsite, if applicable.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective treatment plans and progress monitoring.
- Maintain compliance with California state licensing requirements and district policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with SEIS knowledge is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the county and manage itinerant caseloads.
- Ability to work onsite at all assigned locations; remote work is not acceptable.
- Prior experience with mild to moderate caseloads; experience with severe cases is a plus.
Location:
- Multiple school sites in El Dorado County, California, including El Dorado Hills to Camino areas.
- Travel assignments are expected; Lake Tahoe is approximately 90 minutes east, Sacramento about 45 minutes west.
