A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Apex, NC. This contract role spans the current school year, starting ASAP through June 11, 2026, offering the opportunity to support diverse student populations across multiple schools within a major public school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based speech-language pathology services to students in grades K-12.
- Support caseloads at Rolesville Middle School (full-time), as well as assist with students at Pleasant Union Elementary and Harris Creek Elementary.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Maintain compliance with professional licensing and educator certification requirements.
- Engage in tele-supervision as applicable to support service delivery.
- Document and track student progress adhering to district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Current professional license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid educator certificate in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience delivering school-based speech-language services with understanding of IEP processes.
- Ability to work on-site preferred, with openness to virtual services as needed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary school teams.
Location & Hours:
- Based in Apex, NC, serving multiple schools including Rolesville Middle School, Pleasant Union Elementary, and Harris Creek Elementary.
- Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract duration: Current school year (CSY), with immediate start date through June 11, 2026.
