This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting in Lumberton, NC. The position offers both full-time and part-time contracts through the current school year, serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Candidates should have experience working in schools and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology.

Schedule Options:

  • Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, immediate start through May 29, 2026
  • Part-Time: Two days per week with flexible hours, focusing on Pre-K and elementary students

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist license in North Carolina
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology, including caseload management across elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Ability to supervise at least one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Strong communication skills and flexibility in scheduling (especially for part-time role)
  • Familiarity with both onsite service delivery models

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services directly to students, adapting therapy plans across diverse age groups
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and outcomes
  • Supervise SLPA activities in accordance with established guidelines and best practices
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in regular meetings to discuss student IEPs and progress
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language services in educational settings
