School Speech Language Pathologist - Hope Mills, North Carolina
An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to contribute to the development and support of students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This position is based in Hope Mills, NC, serving a dynamic school environment under a contract arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to pre-kindergarten through high school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Supervise at least one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to ensure effective service delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and service provision.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall program planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina license in Speech Language Pathology is mandatory.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings.
- Ability to work onsite exclusively with strong collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate two days a week for part-time roles, focusing on pre-kindergarten and elementary students.
- Previous experience supervising SLPA is highly desirable.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Part-time: 2 days per week with flexible hours.
- Both full-time and part-time positions are onsite in Hope Mills, NC.
