Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Providing speech therapy services at multiple school locations within Hillsdale County.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working as an SLP in school settings, ideally managing a K-12 caseload.
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the county.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators.
- Availability for a full-time schedule (40 hours per week), starting ASAP through June.
