This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking to support students in a middle school setting. The assignment covers a full school year, beginning with a maternity leave starting late February or early March and extending through the end of the school year. The position requires an in-person therapist to provide consistent, direct services.

Responsibilities include delivering speech and language therapy to students in grades 6 through 8, encompassing a range of settings from full inclusion classrooms to substantially separate environments. The therapist will collaborate with educators and other specialists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.

Key qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid certification and licensure as an SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA with school-based experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with pediatric populations, specifically middle school students
  • Experience managing diverse caseloads that include both inclusion and separate classroom settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff and families
  • Preference for candidates available to provide services in person during the school day

Location and Schedule:

  • Middle school setting in the Brockton, MA area
  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.
