School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Cambridge, Massachusetts
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a middle school in Cambridge, MA. This position is on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY), providing essential therapeutic services to support student communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification/licensure, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with middle school-aged children
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders, assessments, and interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and monitor progress
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Provide direct speech therapy services, both individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards
