A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to cover a maternity leave starting mid to late January through the end of the school year at an early childhood school offering an integrated Pre-K program. This contract role is based in Lynn, MA, with a 37.5-hour workweek.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric populations in school settings and possess qualifications including a valid SLP license, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Familiarity with early childhood education environments and integrated Pre-K programs is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized speech and language assessments and therapy to young children in the integrated Pre-K setting.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development.
  • Document clinical services and progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program planning.
  • Adapt therapy plans to meet the unique needs of a diverse student population.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with early childhood or pediatric speech-language services
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
