Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Quincy, MA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time roles with partner school districts in the Quincy, MA area. We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about providing individualized support and instruction to students with disabilities. Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Massachusetts state and local requirements, including:

Valid Massachusetts Teaching License issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) with an appropriate Special Education endorsement (Moderate or Severe Disabilities, PreK–8 or 5–12)

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
-
Completion of a state-approved educator preparation program
-
Passing scores on required MTEL exams, including Communication & Literacy and the appropriate Subject Matter Test
-
Clear CORI and national background check (fingerprinting) through DESE
-
Prior experience in a special education classroom setting is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student assessments and team recommendations
-
Provide specialized instruction and accommodations in various settings (inclusion, pull-out, or substantially separate classrooms)
-
Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families to support student achievement
-
Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
-
Collect and maintain data to track student progress toward IEP goals
-
Attend and actively contribute to IEP meetings, team meetings, and school-based professional development
-
Ensure compliance with IDEA, DESE regulations, and district special education policies
