We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our team in Queen Creek, AZ. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team while making a significant impact on students' lives.
Position Overview: As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) with ProCare Therapy, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-8, two days a week. You will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support students' communication needs and overall academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs based on assessment results.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
- Educate and support school staff and parents on techniques to support students' communication development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Arizona, or eligibility for licensure.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
