This K-12 school in Renton, WA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year. The role offers the opportunity to work primarily with preschool students, managing a caseload of no more than 50 students. SLPAs are available on site to provide support, allowing the focus to remain on delivering high-quality speech and language services.
The position runs from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with part-time arrangements available that can lead to full-time hours. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, assessments, and providing therapy tailored to student needs. Candidates at the Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) level are preferred, although those open to candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CF candidates considered; CCC preferred)
- Experience working with preschool and primary school students
- Ability to manage up to 50 students on caseload
- Skilled in performing evaluations, assessments, and therapy planning
- Experience collaborating with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is a plus
