School-Based SLP | Orting, Washington
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Orting, WA. This contract role is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June 17th. The position serves a maximum caseload of 45 students, primarily middle and high school age.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- Provide targeted speech-language support and intervention to students
- Collaborate with educational staff to develop individualized plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment, preferably with middle and high school students
- Strong evaluation and intervention skills tailored to school-aged children
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 45 students effectively
- Only fully licensed candidates will be considered; assistant level candidates are not eligible for this role
Position Details:
- Number of openings: 1
- Work schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
- Contract duration: Current school year with an end date of June 17th
- Interview availability: Wednesdays
- There may be a need for an additional part-time candidate to provide support on Tuesdays and Thursdays
